Reservation Terms & Conditions
• The Goods & Services Tax (GST) is applicable as per Government rules and will be charged extra.
• GST as applicable will be charged extra on the gross bill per day, which includes room tariff and extra guest charges.
• Room tariff from Rs. 1.00 to Rs. 7,500.00 per room per day – 5% (on transaction value)
• Room tariff from Rs. 7,501.00 and above per room per day – 18% (on transaction value)
• Room tariff for Conference Hall / Auditorium / Lawn / Open Air Restaurant / Sports Complex Restaurant is subject to 18% GST (on transaction value)
• Restaurant – GST will be charged @ 5% on services provided in air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned restaurants. VAT is applicable on alcoholic beverages.
• Under exceptional circumstances MTDC may cancel bookings made by tourists / agents or online. In such cases, the guest will be given a full refund by MTDC.

• In case of booking failure, if you do not receive confirmation, your amount will be refunded to your mentioned account.
• Discounts offered: 20% to senior citizens, school student picnics, ex-servicemen, and handicapped persons; 10% to NRIs, 10% to Maharashtra Government employees & Central Government employees for season, and 20% for off-season. 25% LTC discount for Maharashtra & Central Government employees. 25% to Brihan Maharashtra Mandal.
• Two children below 12 years are free if sharing bed with parents.
• Tariff is subject to revision as and when required.
• Pets are not allowed.
• In case of failure of the air-conditioning unit, the tariff will be considered as non-AC room tariff. No full refund will be given; only Rs. 500/- will be refunded for AC failure.
• Intercom & cable connection with colour TV is an additional facility. In case of failure, no refund will be given.
• Tourists with advance booking / walk-in tourists must pay full occupancy charges, extra guest charges, and luxury tax for the required stay duration, and must complete entries in the occupancy register before taking room possession.
• Online resort/hotel reservation tourists must carry a printout/email/SMS of booking receipt and a valid photo ID at check-in.
• A refundable deposit of Rs. 200/- per room will be collected before check-in. It will be refunded at departure after settlement of bills and signing the occupancy register.
• MTDC reserves the right to change the tariff.
• Selected resorts include complimentary breakfast in the room tariff under CP (Continental Plan).
• European Plan at Elephanta / Chikhaldara / Tadoba / Bodhalkasa / Sillari / Wardha / Ganpatipule / Velneshwar.
• The Continental Plan (CP) is not applicable for Conference Hall / Banquet / Lawn / Auditorium Hall / Exhibition Hall.
Cancellation Policy:
• Partial cancellation (room/date/extra guest) is not available.
• 5% GST is applicable on cancellation fees for room tariff Rs. 1 – 7,500.
• 18% GST is applicable on cancellation fees for room tariff above Rs. 7,501.
• Cancellation within 0-3 days prior to arrival: 100% charges.
• Cancellation within 4-7 days prior to arrival: 25% charges.
• Cancellation more than 8 days prior to arrival: 10% charges.
• For bookings made via card/UPI/net banking/RTGS/IMPS/QR, refunds will be issued to the account holder’s bank only.
• For bookings made through cash/DD or other modes, refund will be made via cheque/RTGS/NEFT.
• For bookings made through MTDC travel agents, cancellation/refund will be processed by the respective agent.
• Restaurants are attached at selected resorts; cooking is not allowed in rooms or resort premises.
• Due to electricity load-shedding, generator sets may operate partially in some resorts. This will not substitute 24-hour electricity for AC, geysers, etc. No refunds will be given in such cases.
